CEO and President of Green Holding
Polish entrepreneur, winner of the prestigious EY Entrepreneur of the Year award (2022). He has more than 25 years of business experience. He has developed the family farm into one of the largest groups of modern companies in Poland and Central and Eastern Europe, specializing in fresh, washed, cut, pre-packaged vegetables and prepared salads, as well as refrigerated logistics. As Chairman of the Board and CEO of Green Holding, he sets the Group’s strategic goals and development directions, approves key investments, initiatives, and research and technology projects, including—sustainability projects. He has initiated pro-social and charitable activities and is a Council Member of the Ronald McDonald Foundation.
As an experienced managing director with more than 25 years of experience in the agricultural industry, Adam has a deep understanding and passion for vegetable production. He gained his professional experience in both Poland and the UK, which allowed him to develop his skills in a variety of agricultural environments. Privately, he is also associated with agriculture, as he runs a farm himself. As a result, it combines hands-on experience with higher-level management, resulting in an efficient and sustainable approach to crop production. Adam’s work is his passion, which motivates him to constantly seek new and innovative solutions in the field of agriculture.
He has been with the Green Holding Group since 2012 and on the Group Farms board since 2014. Marek was educated in Finance and Accounting at Mercyhurst College, USA and Finance at Bocconi University, Italy. At Holdings, he works most on strategic development projects, investments and real estate issues. Privately a fan of sports, cinema, automobiles and travel.
Since August 2023, Marcin has served as Chief Financial Officer at Green Crops. He previously worked for leaders in the Polish construction industry. An economist by training with a penchant for excursions beyond the realm of finance. He engages in issues of digital transformation and process quality. He believes in transparency and the power of cooperation, and strives to act as a partner to the business by supporting growth strategies and the efficient allocation of resources. Privately, a fan of nature, sustainability and discussions about the future of the world.
Krzysztof has been in the fresh vegetable industry for 18 years, starting his career at the lowest level. Thanks to his unquenchable ambition and constant search for new challenges, he managed to advance, gaining a wealth of experience. He specializes in operations management, where he values most the accomplishment of difficult and unusual tasks. They are the biggest motivator for him to work and develop. Krzysztof greatly appreciates working with people and leading a team, which gives him extra energy and satisfaction. Outside of his professional life, Krzysztof most enjoys spending his free time with his family, especially his two sons, whose presence is an invaluable source of joy and inspiration for him.
Anna has been with the Administration department since 2017, although she is a biologist by training. She completed post-graduate studies in Food Safety and Quality Management, hoping that the Quality Department would be her final destination. However, it turned out that the Administration was what eventually attracted her. In her daily work, Anna is primarily responsible for the proper circulation of documents. She works closely with the Finance Department and frequently communicates with other companies and state institutions. She drafts letters, organizes business trips, and supplies the office with needed materials. The work is intense, but at the same time very developing, as it requires a lot of versatility. In her free time, Anna enjoys reading books, watching movies, and recently has also been trying to grow a home vegetable garden.
Jacek’s adventure with the company began in 2016 with a mission to optimize processes, which quickly turned into a passion for innovating every step of the way. Thanks to his deep commitment, Jacek has not only succeeded in increasing efficiency, but also in raising standards for sustainable production. Jacek is currently working as Director of Projects and Purchasing. As part of his day-to-day responsibilities, he focuses on purchasing strategies that support environmental and economic objectives. Negotiating with suppliers, looking for the best opportunities to purchase materials, and managing projects to continuously improve the business. Outside of work, Jacek’s life revolves around his family—he is a happy husband and father of two children. In search of a work-life balance, she cherishes moments spent outdoors, especially when she can combine them with her hobbies of rollerblading, fishing and hiking. The moments of relaxation are not only relaxing for him, but also a source of inspiration to continue working and making positive changes on our farm.
Małgorzata joined the Green Crops team in 2023, but has been involved with the vegetable industry and the quality department since the beginning of her career path—nearly 15 years. Working in different countries and in different positions, Małgorzata has gained a wealth of experience, and by working with a bunch of expats, she can learn something new every day. As director of the production safety and environmental protection department, she is responsible for ensuring the highest quality of vegetable production, environmental protection and occupational health and safety (OHS) on our farm. Her role focuses not only on overseeing day-to-day safety operations, but also on implementing strategies that support the commitment to ensuring food safety, protecting the environment and providing safe and healthy working conditions for our team. Outside of work, her life is filled with a passion for nature, which she finds through grounding, walruses, yoga and naturotherapy, and she loves walking in the woods and on mountain trails. Commitment to a healthy lifestyle and contact with nature are not only a way for her to regain energy, but are a source of inspiration in her daily work. Her commitment to sustainable living practices allows her to better understand and promote the values that are the foundation of our mission at the farm.
Łukasz is an expert in occupational health and safety. He has traversed a maze of challenges in a variety of corporate environments—from the pulsating energy of the automotive industry to the heart of the food industry. His work is not only to consolidate safety standards, but also to create innovations. Working in high-profile companies, he has experienced both the exciting automotive challenges that drive creative solutions and the complex safety issues in the food industry. In the food industry, he was not only concerned about worker safety, but was also actively involved in building safety standards from the ground up. Now in the role of Health and Safety Supervisor at Green Crops since September 2023, he is building a safety culture through team harmony and bold, innovative thinking. After hours, his world is a mix of excitement and adrenaline, where he swiftly leaps between his passion for automobiles, motorsports, to his fascination with soccer, video games and exploring the world through travel, which he sees as a never-ending adventure and inspiration. His family provides support in the whirlwind of his professional life. His wife and daughter are the whole world to Łukasz, bringing joy and fulfillment in his private life, but also inspiring him to continue to grow and achieve professional success. Their support and love motivate him every day, giving wings to his dreams and professional goals.
Marta’s career path began in 2022 at Primavega. She is currently expanding at Green Crops, where she specializes in HR and payroll services for the organization’s employees. In her current role, she heads a four-person department that focuses on the areas of human resources and payroll. She works with management on a daily basis, supporting them in understanding and practically applying labor law. In addition to her professional work, she is passionate about continuously expanding her HR knowledge. She tries to use her free time to visit different corners of Poland, discovering the charms of our country. Marta is committed to continuous development in both professional and personal areas, which allows her to effectively carry out her tasks and contribute to the development of our organization.
Agnieszka has worked at Green Crops for more than 3 years, and in a management position since March 2023. The main responsibilities of the department that Agnieszka manages include the comprehensive handling of the process in the field—from the creation of a production plan to the meticulous recording of work stages, from cultivation to planting to harvesting. In addition, she is responsible for accurately recording the consumption of goods from the warehouse, such as seedlings, seeds, crop protection products and fertilizers. She also actively monitors fuel consumption in all departments involved in vegetable production, calculates labor efficiency and yields from harvests. In her free time, Agnieszka grows tomatoes, loves traveling and crime movies.
Łukasz has been with the Farm since April 2013. He began his adventure in the company as a farm tractor operator, and he knew the work from the ground up, having helped his parents on the farm from an early age. Even then, he knew that agriculture was where he wanted to educate himself and grow. He has experienced many promotions year after year, first as deputy manager, then manager, and currently holds the position of Director of Agrotechnology. Łukasz’s team is about 12 people strong. At Green Crops, he is responsible for all agrotechnology-related processes and manages most of the machinery. Today, Łukasz can confidently say that farming is his passion, and working for such a large company provides him with many challenges as well as much satisfaction. He spends his free time most happily with his loved ones and is a lover of cinema and travel.
He has always been involved in the horticultural industry, through education, work and passion. After graduation, Marcin spent a long time in Norway, where he gained work experience. He has been associated with Green Crops since April 2019. In the company, he worked in various areas. Currently in the position of Director of Vegetable Production. Above and beyond his professional commitments, after work Marcin finds peace and relaxation by indulging in his private garden with his family. It is a way for him not only to relax, but also to constantly discover new methods of sustainable cultivation, which he can then implement in his professional practice.
Piotr is the production manager. On the farm, he plays a key role in ensuring that crops receive the right amount of water. Piotr is in charge of managing a team of irrigation managers, which allows him to contribute to high quality yields. He makes sure that irrigation methods are efficient and sustainable—in line with the farm’s philosophy. On a daily basis, he analyzes data, adjusts irrigation systems and ensures that the entire process works optimally in cooperation with his team.
Outside of work, Piotr is passionate about sports. He actively trained in the past and now enjoys watching combat sports, which taught him discipline and determination, transferring these values to his professional work ethic and team management. He believes that passion and commitment are the keys to success in every aspect of life, something he tries to convey to his colleagues every day.
Leszek has worked at Green Crops for 10 years. He currently serves as Director of Plant Production, being responsible for fertilization and crop protection. Leszek’s professional and personal passion is precision farming, as well as modern agricultural techniques. In his work he uses the latest and innovative technologies, which influences the optimization and efficiency of processes in crop production. Outside of work, Leszek is an off-road enthusiast and a happy dad.
Mieczysław was born 70 years ago in a small village nestled among fields and forests, in a house without electricity or running water. From an early age, he was attached to the farmland. Mieczysław received his higher education at the Agricultural Academy in Warsaw. He started working on Mr. Edward Rytel’s farm in 1986, doing vegetable growing work, mainly agrotechnology, crop protection, harvesting, operation and maintenance of machinery. After starting to work with McDonald’s, he and Mr. Edward’s family introduced high quality requirements for the vegetables supplied, which exceeded the EUREPGAP (now GLOBALGAP) standards of the time. An interesting feature was the introduction of toilets in the field, which was rare at the time. Mieczysław actively participated in the development and expansion of the farm, constructed and modernized machinery that went to the farm. He has specialized in plant protection for more than a dozen years, and under his tutelage many employees have gained experience in this responsible work.
Robert is a gardener by training and passion. A passion for working with plants has determined the course of his professional path from the very beginning. After graduation, he worked for many years as a researcher at the Institute of Horticulture in Skierniewice, working on vegetable protection, pest biology, and developing methodologies for integrated crop protection. He managed to complete this phase of his work with a doctorate in horticultural science. In 2018, Robert decided to combine theoretical knowledge with practice, joining the Green Crops team as a crop protection expert. In his role as Agro Quality Manager, he is responsible for the safety and quality of the crops grown. Working with companies in the plant protection market, he strives to find and introduce the latest solutions to increase the effectiveness of protection methods, and thus the quality of vegetables produced and the safety of consumers. By implementing the tenets of integrated methods, he also takes care of biodiversity and increased safety of the surrounding nature.
In his free time, he stays within the realm of nature’s passions, designing and assisting friends with their gardens, hiking mountain trails or exploring regional inns in search of flavors that are not obvious.
Vasyl has worked at Green Crops since 2016. Over the past eight years, starting as a simple manual laborer, he advanced along the career path to the position of Foreman, then to Manager, and finally to Director of the production department. With the experience and commitment he has gained, Vasyl’s main responsibilities during the seasonal period include managing a large staff of employees and ensuring the efficient fulfillment of customer orders. In this role, he must not only oversee the production process, but also coordinate the team’s activities to ensure efficiency and timely delivery. Vasyl is happy to do this work, as he accepts each task and challenge with enthusiasm and pleasure. In my free time, I devote most of my attention to my family and loved ones, in addition to enjoying playing soccer. Sports help him maintain an active lifestyle and provide relaxing entertainment.
As Production Manager, Sławomir plays a key role in ensuring sustainable production and efficient harvesting. His many years of experience in the industry help him to skillfully and effectively manage production and logistics processes in the agricultural sector. Sławomir’s work focuses on managing the entire process from order fulfillment to overseeing collection teams to ensure that products are of the highest quality and delivered on time. Privately, he is interested in nature, automobiles, sports, music. His interests allow him to find a balance between his professional and personal life.
Piotr’s adventure with Green Crops began in 2013. He started as a laborer on the broccoli harvest. He then worked as a tractor operator. By honing his skills, he became a junior agrotechnology specialist. In 2023, through dedication and hard work, he was promoted to Vegetable Production Manager. He deals with the area of baby leaves. Outside of work, he is interested in automobiles, World War II, and agriculture.
Martyna specializes in recruitment, finding and hiring both seasonal and permanent workers. Her responsibilities include analyzing staffing needs, creating job advertisements, screening candidates, conducting interviews, employment negotiations and onboarding new employees. She organizes internships and apprenticeships to establish relationships with potential candidates for future employees and reports on realized staffing needs.
Martyna also ensures that seasonal workers are provided with adequate housing and other amenities and activities to facilitate their effective work. She is available for direct contact, ready to answer any questions and provide the necessary assistance in the application process. Martyna strives to ensure that everyone can find a place in the organization that best suits their skills and expectations.
Przemysław was interested in automobiles and technology from an early age. He graduated with a master’s degree in mechanical engineering from Warsaw University of Technology. The beginning of his career path was in heavy industry. He joined the company in the fall of 2020 as Technical Manager. At Green Crops, he and his 14-person team ensure that farm machinery and tractors continue to operate. In addition, he is responsible for preparing annual repair and maintenance plans. Przemysław also deals with machine modifications to fit our needs. At work, he focuses on professionalism and good team relations. A cohesive team = enjoyable work. Privately, he enjoys traveling, watching a good movie, and spends a lot of time DIY as well.
Ewelina has worked at Green Crops since July 2021, and is a horticulturist by training. Her duties mainly focus on evaluating and selecting appropriate varieties in all vegetables produced. Ewelina’s role also includes active participation in the new product development process. She is passionate about herbalism and the effects of plants on the human body and health. In addition to her professional work, she finds joy in growing household flowers, which for her are not only an aesthetic decoration of the apartment, but also an expression of her love for nature.
